Types of Membership


VMASC membership is comprised of industry, government and academic members.

  • Industry Annual Member - an industry member is an organization who pays annual dues either in cash or in material-in-kind.

  • University Members - a university may become a member of VMASC by submitting a letter requesting membership, identifying its representative and indicating how it intends to participate in VMASC activities. Leadership or sponsorship of a project is desirable.

  • Government Member - federal, state and local government agencies may become a member by submitting a letter requesting membership, identifying its representative and indicating how it intends to participate in the promotion of modeling and simulation industry. Sponsorship of a project is desirable.

  • Affiliate Member - An affiliate member is a non-profit, non-government organization providing training or information type services for the simulation industry.

Joining Process

The VMASC Member Value Proposition (MVP) is our application process for enhanced collaboration with members focusing on VMASC strategic initiatives. This agreement details partnering activities with each member so specific benefits of membership can be tracked each year for mutual value.

The annual membership fees range from $1K to $15K and are based on your company's gross revenue. This information is recapped on the Membership Application.
